Hygienic Wall Cladding

The Jemiclad wall cladding system is a durable PVCu hygienic covering for internal walls.

It is both a decorative and practical product that can be used anywhere. Showers and kitchens in particular benefit from the watertight, seamless, wipe clean surface that the system provides.

These are areas where, traditionally, people have had to choose ceramic tiles - a system which can be problematic when it comes to meeting modern hygiene requirements. The Jemiclad wall cladding system gives you a new option, and in many ways a superior one.
Don't let ceramics catch you out !

Jemiclad refuses to make the kitchen or shower a home for bacteria. Unlike ceramic tiles, it's a wall cladding with no gaps, cracks or grout. Excellent impact resistance keeps it that way.

It's a smooth, wipe-clean surface on which dirt and bacteria find it practically impossible to live. So whether you want a hygienic kitchen or shower area, tell bacteria to take a hike with Jemiclad.

Corners

Jemiclad is normally thermoformed on-site, so that window and door reveals are neatly clad without an edge joint. Vulnerable external corners are usually over-clad with stainless steel corner protectors, to a height of 1200mm.

Jointing

Various jointing methods are available, depending on the work area requirements:

  • A high impact extruded PVCu 'H' joint trim (available in two part or single part profiles), incorporating a watertight seal at the mouth of the joint, which is unique to Jemiclad.
  • A powder coated aluminium "H" joint used for extra impact or heat resistance.
  • Silicone joint 3-4mm wide.
  • Hot welded joint - ask for details.

Cleaning

Jemiclad can be cleaned with a diluted soap or detergent solution. You can also use our uPVC wall cleaner to remove stubborn stains.

When cleaning the surface of the Jemiclad surface, make sure the water temperature does not exceed 140F/60C.

Pressure cleaning with hot water may be used with the pressure nozzle, standing at a minimum of 2 feet away from the surface.

To reduce the build-up of static, cleaning the surface with anti-static wipes is recommended.

Do not use materials containing abrasives or solvents.

Some cleaning agents may adversely affect Jemiclad.

Resistant to a wide range of chemicals, (specific details on request.)
